SHOEI X-TWELVE
“The Flagship”
____________________________________- Product Archives
The first day of September has arrived and with it the brand new models and graphics from Shoei Helmets. The Shoei X-Eleven has been around since 2003 but for 2010 will be succeeded by the seriously improved X-Twelve.
The X-Twelve development team was created in August 2005 after a Grand Prix race in the Czech Republic. They immediately decided to begin designing the X-Twelve from scratch instead of developing a similar successor for the X-Eleven. The result after 4 years of developing and testing is the most advanced aerodynamic race ready helmet on the market.
The ventilation was tested in wind tunnels and on the track at speeds in excess of 300 km/h resulting in an improved ventilation performance and a newly developed side air outlet thanks to MotoGP riders.
The shell of the helmet has a new sporty and refined shape and design while the interior offers a newly designed and more comfortable interior and full removable humidity absorbing quick dry interior.
The X-Twelve is DOT and Snell M2010 standards and offered in 5 shell sizes and in helmet sizes XS to XXL for the ultimate in fit and comfort. Since Shoei improved on every aspect of the helmet, they had to improve the graphics as well. The X-Twelve offers 5 pro racer replicas to choose from such as the always-popular Vermeulen and the new B-Boz.
