The Star Series Hand guard is designed to take a beating and is the strongest protection you can buy. The mounting brackets are tough aluminum while the guard itself is made of 2 different types of plastic, a stiff spine for durability and a softer colored body for flexibility.
The Star Series protects your hands from flying debris, and roost, plus it keeps your hands warm by blocking the wind in cold weather. In the summer, simply snap out the removable vent cover to let the cool air flow through. In the coldest of conditions, remove the vent cover and replace it with the optional extension for added protection.
